“I’ve been thinking a lot about the content we make and the platforms they live on. In whole, I’ve been a little discouraged, not from lack of inspiration but rather the noise and lack of conversation.”
Random, shapeless ideas on the edges of my planner, these are materials that eventually landed my social media. With months of practice, those photos and one-liner captions collectively became more consistent and complete in thought. My micro narratives birthed the Pocket Stories.
On a personal level, this is where self-expression meets business. It helps me unload creatively. Now, I decide that it is time to exist and take courage in what my friends and I started. It is time to take the white space that is rightfully ours to paint and yours to represent.
I begin to smell the scent The Pocket Stories would wreak- a space for what is simple, honest and uneventful. A hub of narratives about lives more than items. Expression over Acquisition. It is you and I, scribed and told.
Finally, as entrepreneurship gives me a clear vision toward Freedom, I hope you allow it to do the same for you TODAY.
As Ayn Rand says, “Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.”
Dear Storyteller, it is pocketable. It is yours. Let’s begin.
